At Diacronie Lab, studio activities are primarily focused on audio recording, production, and post-production. The studio serves as an open environment for experimentation and research, where artistic expression and technological innovation intersect. Here, unconventional projects find a place, guided by technical expertise enriched by the experience of professional musicians. Diacronie Lab is not just a studio, but rather a crossroads of creativity and expertise, where music comes to life through a process of genuine collaboration.

passages

Ruggero Fornari & Héctor Cavallaro

“passages” is the first musical output of Ruggero Fornari and Héctor Cavallaro as the duo Fornari-Cavallaro. The creation process started as an investigation of some extended techniques for piano and electric guitar, later processed and integrated with sampling, no-input mixing and other forms of live processing through a modular synthesizer.

EDD

"bin_mod" stands as the debut official release by the artist EDD (Edoardo Maria Bellucci) and marks the initial offering from the DIACRONIE media label. Self-proclaimed by the artist as the "sonic manifesto of the project", the album represents an effective exploration of abstract electronic sounds with complex articulation, restructured and regulated by rhythmic structures inherently tied to club culture-influenced beats

In this collection of 9 pieces the DORICI project is presented, in which the author plays the role of composer and performer (piano, keyboards and electronics) accompanied by an ensemble of stringed instruments (violin, viola, cello and double bass), percussion and voices.

MUSICA DOMESTICA

Michele Chiaramida

An entire album dedicated to the harpsichord, an ancient keyboard instrument. For the recording, a harpsichord built by the performer Michele Chiaramida was used. The collection includes pieces by Georg Friedrich Kauffmann, Georg Philipp Telemann, Johann Pachelbel, and Samuel Scheidt.

DURAMADRE

Francesco Ziello e Riccardo Terlizzi

The second album by composer and multi-instrumentalist Francesco Ziello, created in collaboration with percussionist Riccardo Terlizzi. This multidisciplinary project encompasses not only the musical recording but also audiovisual materials featuring choreography curated by dancer and performer Francesca Schipani.

WALKED THE WAY HOME

Virginia Guidi  and Giancarlo Schiaffini

Debut album by mezzo-soprano and performer Virginia Guidi, in collaboration with Giancarlo Schiaffini, released by EMA Vinci Records. Following the receipt of the Michiko Hirayama scholarship from the Scelsi Foundation, the album features compositions by G. Scelsi, D. Guaccero, A. Curran, E. Morricone, M. Cimagalli, and Giancarlo Schiaffini.

Centered around the figure of Jeffrey Dahmer in the chronicles of the Milwaukee Monster, the album features entirely original compositions conceived and performed by Francesco Ziello himself.
