Piano di Curve Sonore

Piano di curve sonore is a plastic device of emotional behavior, an artistic representation of the empathic faculty of the human being.

In its resonating, the sculpture feels (listens) and reflects the emotion of the one who touches it. This person, in turn, will adjust their way of interacting with it in a dialogue, regulating tones, pressure, movement, and volumes based on the response. It is a new and unexplored way of producing sound: the performer - any visitor ready to put their hands on the keyboard - has in front of them a means they thought they knew and instead finds themselves learning, discovering a new process, a different way of relating to sound, and adjusting the acoustic response to the sculptural work it responds to.
